Amateur fighter, out of Pro Edge MMA in Phoenix, AZ, and currently holding a record of 2-0. His last fight was December 2021, where he won by knockout in the 1st round. Derek has been training for just over a year and continues to improve. Derek’s path to fighting has been an interesting road. He got into boxing with his little brother to spend time with him and help keep him active. Family is one of the most important things in Derek’s life and he tries to always remain a person that they can count on and look up to. Derek left for the military when he was 18 and served our country for 6 years. Being an Army Ranger with the 1/75 Ranger Regiment, deployed to Afghanistan twice Derek feels that he has what it takes to continue to grow and reach the highest levels of the fight game.
